Our grateful thanks

We would like to thank a number of people for their support and for making this venture possible.

Our school has been and is fantastic and we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers and other staff who have given us the most amazing support and encouragment. In particular we would like to thank Dyfrig Rees and Meleri Jones for their tireless commitment and good humour! We are so very grateful and without you we would have found this even MORE difficult!!

We would also like to thank all the teachers who have had a vital role in helping us and our families through some very difficult times, particularly Trystan Edwards,  Vanessa Priestley,  Huw Llewellyn,  Keri Evans, Rebecca Newiss, Dyfrig Jones, Delyth Medi Lloyd, Iwan Lloyd, Phil Davies, Yr Adran Almaeneg. You have been fantastic, thank-you.

The support we have received from our families and friends has been phenomenal. Without this,  the whole thing would have been very very tough. A special thanks to Toni and Carys D’Auria and Huw and Glynys Davies who took us under their wings and ‘adopted’ us and our siblings so that our parents could stay in hospital with our brother and sister without worrying about us.  We couldn’t have asked for a better second home. Thank-you.

We would also like to thank ‘Lime green tangerine’ who have invested what must feel like, hundreds of hours helping us  create our fantastic leaflet and bringing our ideas to print. We simply couldn’t have done it without you. Thank-you.

The staff from Avanti Media have been wonderful in helping us with everything from helping us film interviews with medical staff to helping us think about the logistics of the Gala Evening! A special thank you to Rhys for all his filming and Louise for all her contributions. Thank-you to all.

A special thanks must go to our parents, who have always supported us and encouraged us in all aspects of our lives. We have learnt from them that to give is an amazing thing. They have enabled us to realise that we are involved in an incredible community and that we  can also  make a real difference and support each other.

When we talk about families and communities, it is impossible not to say a huge thank-you to our brothers and sisters, because this is also about them and from them as well.  To Ailish, Gwion and Naomi, you are the best (or awesomist  in Ailish talk!) To Alaw and Rory, you are both our inspiration.  Thank-you for your strength and determination to overcome so much and your help with this.

Of course, without the medical teams’ and their care and skill, we would not have such cause to celebrate. Therefore, we’re dedicating an ENTIRE page to them!

Finally, to everyone who has donated to our charity, joined us on these events, supported us and encouraged us. To all of you, thank-you.

Cian and Osian
